The dew droplets are sparkling on the grass, the Wye valley is draped in blankets of low cloud and the blackberries and apples are ripening!

What does autumn signify for you?

For me, the golden, orange and russet shades of the leaves is a reminder that my own life has reached its autumn stage… a time for releasing what no longer serves me, to make way for new growth. A time too, to prepare myself for the winter, when everything will slow down and turn inward. As I reflect on the year so far and celebrate my achievements, I am making plans and adjustments where needed to keep on track for the months to come.  I want to make the most of the light and warmth before the equinox, when the wheel will turn once more and the days will begin to shorten.

These are some of the themes we will be exploring together in our Circle of Connection on Saturday 16 September, from 13:30 – 15:30, supported by the ponies. If you would like to join us, the cost is £45 per person and you can book your place by contacting me: info@therapywithhorses.co.uk.

HEALTH AND WELLBEING

There’s been a lot of focus on mental health in the media recently, with much talk about how therapy can help, including equine therapy!

Monmouth Town Council is hosting a Health & Wellbeing event on Saturday 9 September from 11:00 – 15:00 in the Shire Hall. Entry is free and there will be a variety of practitioners available to talk to you about different ways to meet your physical and mental health needs. Therapy with Horses will be there too, so pop in and say hello!

I hope you have all enjoyed the summer holidays and had a chance to recharge.  We love to hear from you, so drop us a message or come along to our next meet-up.

Warm regards

Julie, Macaroon and Biscotti xxx
